Rejin has no plans to retire from cybersport despite lengthy ban

Allan “Rejin” Petersen, who previously received a long-term ban due to the use of a “coaching bug,” said that he plans to continue his esports career and is ready to consider offers from teams interested in cooperation. In September, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) determined that the ban period for a player who repeatedly used the mentioned bug in official competitions would be almost 20 months.

In his Twitter, Rejin said that he had been trying to “understand the situation” for the last two months. and decide how to proceed. After he admitted to wrongdoing in early September, mousesports, with whom he was working at the time, stopped working with him. The player decided not to challenge the ban, which was already reduced due to his cooperation with ESIC and cooperation in the investigation. Rejin noted that he considers his experience very valuable: “I think my knowledge is quite extensive and can be useful in CS:GO and e-sports in general. I am ready to discuss any proposals.” He emphasized that he may not be going to limit his plans exclusively to CS:GO.

Meanwhile, ESIC plans to release the next piece of data related to the investigation into the “coaching bug” in the near future.
