Valve has once again proven that nobody catches the community off guard quite like they do. On Friday evening, July 3rd – breaking from the usual Tuesday and Thursday update schedule – they quietly dropped the Jackass Sticker Capsule in CS2. Within hours, players had already found some very NSFW easter eggs hidden inside the stickers.
What Is This Collab?

The capsule is a three-way collaboration between Paramount Games, Jackass's legendary graphic artist Andy Jenkins, and well-known Valve item creator TheDanidem.
The release is tied to Jackass: The Best of the Worst – the sixth and reportedly final entry in the iconic franchise. The film has pulled in over $11.6 million against a $10 million budget across two weeks in theaters and holds a 6.8/10 on IMDb.
The collection includes 39 unique stickers representing iconic stunts from the show: an air horn on a golf course, a wild ride down Electric Avenue in a modified wheelchair, the legendary High Five, Johnny Knoxville's bull rodeo, and the porta-potty catapult that is the Poo Cocktail Supreme – which even got its own lenticular sticker version.
The capsule is keyless – sold directly in the CS2 Keys & Capsules section, with a launch price of well under a dollar.
The NSFW Easter Eggs Hidden in the Stickers
Like many stickers in CS2, the Jackass capsule designs change as they wear down – and this time Valve clearly had no interest in playing it safe:
The Jackass logo, scraped down far enough, is reduced to a single word: Ass.

The High Five! sticker, at heavy wear, gradually loses every finger except one.

Partyboy loses its rainbow outline but gains... underwear covering the chest area.

Boner Snap, worn down significantly, reveals a very recognizable shape – then cuts off right at the interesting part.

With enough wear, Big Red Rocket gets an appropriately suggestive label on the body.

On Skull Bunny, the skull can eventually be replaced by the word Jackass.

The stickers are done in the franchise's trademark chaotic style: loud colors, grungy fonts, and exaggerated expressions. The holo Jackass logo and the Assterisk sticker have already grabbed the most attention – both pair well with popular weapon finishes and are already appearing in the community's first crafts.

The First Collab With a Non-Gaming Franchise
In its 24-year history, Counter-Strike has seen plenty of crossovers – Halo, Warhammer 40,000, Battlefield, and music capsules with Slipknot and The Prodigy. But Jackass is the first time a Hollywood franchise aimed at mainstream pop culture rather than gamers has partnered with the game. It looks like Valve is deliberately reaching beyond the core CS2 audience to pull in movie fans who've never launched the game.
There's also something worth noting: TheDanidem's involvement isn't just bringing in a freelancer – it's Valve's official acknowledgment that community-made work can stand alongside output from major studios.
Not Available Everywhere

The Jackass Capsule is currently unavailable in several European countries – players in Germany, France, and the Netherlands will have to wait around a week before the first stickers start showing up on the Steam Market.
The Community Is Split
The reaction on social media has been mixed. Part of the community is genuinely excited, calling it one of the best crossover capsules Valve has ever done. Others are frustrated: another cosmetic drop lands while the cheating problem stays unresolved and the long-awaited Armory update remains nowhere in sight.
There's also a conspiracy theory making the rounds: given the ongoing dispute with New York state prosecutors, some players think this collab – with its unmistakably 18+ content – is Valve's way of pushing back against claims that CS2 is aimed at children. It's a stretch as the sole explanation for the release, but the timing is genuinely interesting.
Is the Capsule Worth Opening?

Paper (regular) stickers drop in roughly four out of every five openings, so don't expect to pull a holo or lenticular on the first try. If you're a Jackass fan or you collect unusual stickers, the capsule is worth it for the vibes alone. If you're after a quick profit, watch the market first: prices on collab capsules typically dip in the first few days after release and then settle.
Want to grab specific Jackass stickers without the gamble of opening capsules blind? The full collection will be available on LIS-SKINS once market prices stabilize – keep an eye on updates and pick up exactly what you need, without paying a premium for a random drop!
