Desert Eagle | Starcade (Battle-Scarred)

Battle-Scarred (BS) is the outermost wear of the Desert Eagle | Starcade, and its band is cut off at the top by the skin's float ceiling of 0.75. In this wear the pistol sits between 0.45 and 0.75. The pistol is Classified rank and sits in The Graphic Design Collection. In CS2 it exists in all five wears.

What the Desert Eagle | Starcade looks like in Battle-Scarred

The slide is blue-violet with fine metallic flecks. A green stripe and a red-orange stripe run along it, and a short red mark shows at the base. The grip is painted differently: a dark pink-brown base with speckle, a turquoise diagonal stripe across it, and a red-orange heel.

Valve describes the artwork as abstract, applied in paint with a metallic sheen. The color comes in broad stripes and patches. In Battle-Scarred, scuffing takes the largest share of the scale, but wear is fixed at the drop, and a listing stays in the condition it is shown in.

What to check before buying

Before buying a Desert Eagle | Starcade, check the following:

• the float: the band from 0.45 to 0.75 takes 40% of the skin's scale, which ends at 0.75;


• a name tag and stickers left on the Desert Eagle | Starcade by the previous owner;


• the state of the turquoise stripe on the grip and of the red heel, which are in plain view.

The artwork of the Desert Eagle | Starcade is rigidly set and does not depend on the copy. In this wear the float is stretched from 0.45 to 0.75, and that shows on inspection: listings from the ends of the band look different.

What the Desert Eagle | Starcade costs in Battle-Scarred

The rest of the wears are dearer, by these factors:

• Minimal Wear, 2.54 times as much;


• Field-Tested, 1.37 times as much;


• Well-Worn, 1.35 times as much.

The largest step falls on the factory wear, which costs several times more than any other. Of the six Classified Desert Eagles with a price at this wear, the skin is the second most expensive. Only Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox costs more, by almost seven times. Below come Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon and Desert Eagle | Eastern Enigma, and Desert Eagle | Heat Treated is tens of times cheaper.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Starcade

The Desert Eagle | Starcade is not in any case. The Graphic Design Collection was released in October 2024.

The second route is a trade-up: hand in ten skins of the rank below from the same collection. The odds of landing this Desert Eagle are one in two. From there, the Classified rank leads on to AWP | CMYK, but there is nothing to gain in such a contract.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version of the Desert Eagle | Starcade in the game. No Souvenir packages ever existed for the finish, but you can build a souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic adds gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Starcade

The slide is blue-violet with flecks, and dark stickers vanish there. Light, yellow and white stickers read better on it. The grip is variegated, while the green and red-orange stripes on the slide drown out warm colors.

Who this wear suits

The Desert Eagle | Starcade in Battle-Scarred is worth buying in these situations:

• you want an abstract Desert Eagle with flecks at the lowest price of all the wears;


• scuffing does not bother you, and paying 1.35 to 1.37 times as much for the neighboring wears is unnecessary;


• the pistol is for CS2, where wear does not affect shooting.
