★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest (Field-Tested)

★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest in Field-Tested (FT): a CS2 paracord knife with forest camouflage on the blade and a green wrap on the handle. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. The source of this finish is the Shattered Web Case and the Fracture Case. It comes in five wears, and its float is bounded by 0.06 and 0.80. This wear of the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest sits between 0.15 and 0.38.

What the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest looks like in Field-Tested

The blade is straight, with an obliquely cut point, a long slot running along it and holes at the base. The camouflage is built from patches of lime, green and brown-gray over a sandy-gray ground. The handle is wrapped in mint-green cord. Valve writes that the forest pattern was transferred to the knife with hydrographic film.

In Field-Tested the marks of wear are already there: they settle on the slanted point and on the edge. They were laid in at the drop and do not accumulate with time. In this wear the knife is the 0.15 to 0.38 band, and listings from its edges look different.

Where the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest came from

The paracord model arrived in the game on November 19, 2019, with Operation Shattered Web: Valve showed a case with four new knives at that point. Boreal Forest sits in that case too, and the finish's second case is the Fracture Case.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest, several points are worth checking:

• float: the closer to 0.15, the fewer marks on the point and the edge;

• applied name: a name tag already on the listing stays on the knife after purchase;

• the cord on the handle: the mint-green braid should look even.

There is no choosing by pattern here, since it is the same on every listing.

What the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs noticeably more: that wear takes up the 0.06 to 0.07 stretch of the scale. Minimal Wear (MW) is a seventh more, and Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are level with Field-Tested.

Among the 13 Covert paracord finishes in Field-Tested, Boreal Forest stands in the middle: five are cheaper, seven dearer. Urban Masked and Night Stripe are level with it, Scorched is 6% lower, Safari Mesh a seventh lower, and Damascus Steel an eighth higher. The top of the row belongs to Slaughter, Case Hardened and Crimson Web.

Getting the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest

From the Shattered Web Case and the Fracture Case this paracord knife arrives with a random wear. The contract is the second route: five Covert skins from one collection give one rare special item, but model and finish cannot be selected in it. The paracord knife you want is bought as a ready-made listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak™ version of the ★ Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested suits this paracord knife for three reasons:

• you want forest camouflage on a knife, and Factory New costs noticeably more;

• your CS2 loadout is made of green and sand, and the mint wrap on the handle repeats the color of the patches on the blade;

• the float outweighs the wear label, and inside 0.15 to 0.38 a listing with fewer marks can be found.
