With the release of the Spring Forward update, Valve updated the Train Collection, completely revising the list of included skins. Unlike the previous version of the collection, which was dominated by more realistic tactical colorings, this time the selection features many more bright, experimental, and unusual designs. Let’s take a look into the updated collection to find out which of the items included are worth buying first.
History of the Train Collection
The original Train Collection was released in 2014 along with the Arms Deal update. The design of the skins included in it was based on the style of the Train map. In the following years, the composition of the collection did not change, but it repeatedly appeared in souvenir sets during Majors. In 2021, the Train map was removed from the active map pool, which increased the collectible value of the original skins from the Train Collection.
Finally, in January 2025, Train returned to the list of active maps, replacing Vertigo. It is quite logical that the release of the reworked map was followed by an update of the associated collection. You can get skins from the Train Collection 2025 in the game by exchanging stars in the Arsenal. In addition, during the Major in Austin, their souvenir versions will be available. Of course, items from this collection have already appeared for sale – on LIS-SKINS you can purchase them at very attractive prices.
AWP Long Dog
There is only one "Covert" skin in the collection — it's AWP Long Dog. It doesn’t look as high-contrast as AWP Printstream, but it will definitely find its fans. A surface resembling fur texture, schematic outlines of hunting dogs, and red-black accents make this skin instantly recognizable.
M4A4 Hellish
One of the two “Classified” skins in the selection, M4A4 Hellish, fits perfectly into any “fire-themed” collection. Flames, geometric letters seen in the background, orange-black coloring — you can’t ask for more. Additionally, the outlines of laughing fiery demons can be seen on the barrel, stock, and magazine.
MP9 Latte Rush
The second skin with the same rarity level is MP9 Latte Rush, which looks completely different. Its coloring resembles messy graffiti with pink clouds, inscriptions, and a sad coffee cup. The metal texture that shows through the design adds a realistic touch, but it still looks completely unserious.
MAC-10 Derailment
The brightest of the “Restricted” skins in Train Collection 2025 is MAC-10 Derailment. Its name translates as “derailment,” so its inclusion in the Train collection makes perfect sense. The weapon’s body depicts a train rushing full speed and crashing in an explosion, and the magazine is decorated with several small images of trains and carriages.
Tec-9 Whiteout
The second “Classified” skin looks much simpler. Tec-9 Whiteout continues the already existing skin series known as “Whiteout.” It looks overly minimalistic, but the white background offers great room for creating sticker combinations.
Zeus x27 Charged Up
The same can be said about Zeus x27 Charged Up. Its yellow-black coloring looks simple enough, but the contrasting color combination makes for a good background for many stickers – lightning bolts or electric sparks would work especially well.
UMP-45 Late Night Transit
There are four “Mil-Spec” skins in Train 2025. The brightest one is UMP-45 Late Night Transit with a design resembling a metro line map. Colored lines spread across the weapon's body, following its shape and forming an interesting pattern.
Glock-18 Green Line
The transportation theme is also present in the design of Glock-18 Green Line. Along the barrel are depicted green subway or train cars, familiar to everyone. The idea is simple, but very well executed, so many players will likely want this skin in their collection.
XM1014 Run Run Run
XM1014 Run Run Run is another graffiti-style design. Most of the weapon’s surface is left gray, while the central part of the body features a dark pink inscription of interwoven letters.
FAMAS 2A2F
Finally, FAMAS 2A2F is the most unpretentious-looking design among the “Mil-Spec” items. Most of the weapon’s body is painted gray and metallic, with just a few colorful accents and inscriptions. Still, this skin will appeal to fans of more realistic designs with well-crafted details.
Finally, six more “Industrial Grade” skins are included in the Train Collection. As typical for skins of this rarity, they are not very flashy. However, some players may like the bright green body of the Galil AR Green Apple or the detailed metallic finish of the AUG Steel Sentinel.
