The best M4A4 skins in CS2 in 2026, balancing design and price, are M4A4 | In Living Color, M4A4 | Desolate Space, M4A4 | X-Ray, M4A4 | Tooth Fairy and M4A4 | Griffin. The cheapest, Griffin and Tooth Fairy, start at about $3, Desolate Space starts around $10, In Living Color around $25, and the priciest pick, X-Ray, costs about $75. Below is each skin's design, the case it drops from and what it costs across wears.
The M4A4 is still the main CT rifle for many players who want a 30-round magazine and a high rate of fire. How it compares with the M4A1-S is covered in our M4A1-S vs M4A4 comparison. If you do not have a good skin for this gun yet, here are five options for different budgets.
M4A4 In Living Color
Those who prefer bright colors will like this skin with a self-explanatory name, M4A4 | In Living Color. Its coloring is reminiscent of street art, with the most unpredictable combinations of neon colors. Look closely and you can make out a girl with pink hair in the multicolored chaos.
It is a Covert skin from the Snakebite Case and comes in all five wears. Mid and high float copies cost about $25 to $30, Minimal Wear about $40 and Factory New about $80. A StatTrak Factory New is pricier, around $120.
M4A4 Desolate Space
M4A4 | Desolate Space is another skin that shows up in many roundups. The detail that makes it instantly recognizable is a skeleton in a space suit against a gloomy space landscape.
This Classified skin drops from the Gamma Case and exists in every wear. Field-Tested and Well-Worn cost about $10, Minimal Wear about $20 and Factory New about $70. StatTrak starts around $20 to $25.
M4A4 X-Ray
If you prefer a minimalist weapon design, look at M4A4 | X-Ray. It can be called a classic, because it recalls the times when developers believed realistic skins would be more popular than flashy ones. But the design is not that simple: the coloring lets you literally see inside the weapon, which is where the name comes from.
It is a Covert skin from the eSports 2013 Winter Case, one of the game's older cases, and it exists only in three wears, Factory New through Field-Tested. Field-Tested costs about $75, Minimal Wear about $80 and Factory New about $110.
M4A4 Tooth Fairy
Fans of creepy weapon art will like the M4A4 | Tooth Fairy. It joins the range of skins featuring mythological creatures. Of course, the "Tooth Fairy" on the body of the gun looks nothing like a character from children's stories: the skinmaker made her a creepy creature glaring at the enemy, and the red and black shades only strengthen that impression.
This Classified skin from the Fracture Case comes in all wears and is one of the most affordable picks here: Battle-Scarred and Field-Tested cost about $3 to $4, Factory New about $10, and StatTrak starts around $5.
M4A4 Griffin
Predatory animals are another popular theme in skin design, and the M4A4 has one too. Despite the muted colors of the M4A4 | Griffin, it catches the eye thanks to the detailed griffin on the body.
It is a Restricted skin from the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case. Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred copies cost about $3, Minimal Wear about $5, while Factory New is much pricier at about $60. More low-cost options are in our list of the best budget M4A4 skins.
