The Dead Hand is a CS2 collection released on March 12, 2026: 17 weapon skins by Steam Workshop creators and 22 new gloves across three models (Sport, Specialist and Driver). The items come from the Dead Hand Terminal, which now costs about $0.3, while the gloves themselves trade from about $65 for the cheapest Battle-Scarred pairs up to $4,800 for a Factory New Ultra Violent. The priciest weapon skin in the set is the AWP | Queen's Gambit (from $35). Below are all the gloves and skins with images, current prices and the ways to get them.

The last time Counter-Strike received new gloves was back in CS:GO in 2020, which made this update one of the biggest events for the CS2 skin market. For a closer look at which pairs the community liked most, see our article on the new Dead Hand gloves.

Dead Hand Terminal: How It Works
The collection is distributed through the Dead Hand Terminal, the second container of this type in CS2 after the Genesis Terminal (see how to get the Genesis collection).
Here's how it works:
You can get the terminal from the weekly drop or buy it on the market.
No key is required: you open the terminal directly from your inventory.
You are offered one random item, usually a weapon skin. If you don't like it, you can reroll the offer up to 5 times.
After the fifth rejection, the terminal disappears.
The offered item is bought with Steam Wallet funds at a price set by Valve. That is why the terminal itself is so cheap: you pay for the item you accept, not for the opening. According to player reports, items bought directly from the terminal carry an original owner mark that cannot be obtained any other way.
17 Community Skins: The Collection Breakdown
All 17 weapon skins were made by community skin makers and picked by Valve from the Steam Workshop. Every skin exists in all five wears, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, and in a StatTrak version.
Covert
AWP | Queen's Gambit

The flagship and rarest skin in the collection. Gold engravings cover the whole body, with blue decorative accents on the scope and barrel. The level of detail in the ornament makes this one of the most striking AWP finishes. Prices start from $35, with Factory New at about $210.
Glock-18 | Fully Tuned

The second Covert skin in the set. It goes all-in on anime styling: neon colors, graffiti, Japanese lettering and a pink-haired character as the centerpiece. It quickly became one of the most talked-about skins of the update. Prices start from $35, with Factory New at about $160.
Classified
AK-47 | Crane Flight

Japanese aesthetics: a crane illustration, ornamental patterns and gold accents across the body. The white and gray base is offset by a red circle on the stock that evokes the Japanese flag, a theme that carries through other skins in this tier. Prices start from $7, with Factory New at about $45.
P250 | Kintsugi

A nod to kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. The light body carries gold lines, wave motifs and a crane illustration. Prices start from $4, with Factory New at about $20.
P90 | Deathgaze

Street art is the inspiration: graffiti, text and a large face with a piercing stare cover the body. The wide surface of the P90 works as a street art canvas. Prices start from $4, with Factory New at about $20.
Restricted
MP9 | Urban Sovereign

Another graffiti design, with bright lettering, tags and typical street art elements across the body.
Galil AR | Galigator

A bold green and yellow industrial design: a hazard symbol on the front and a stylized alligator on the body.
M4A1-S | Electrum

A restrained green and gold design: a deep green body with metallic gold accents on the barrel and attachments.
Desert Eagle | Firebreathing

A purple-blue pattern that evokes flames or smoke. The abstract graphics cover most of the body with smooth color transitions.
MP7 | Amberline

A warm amber and yellow base with light diagonal lines and gray accents. The saturated color stands out in game, and the contrasting details add an industrial edge.
All Restricted skins in the collection cost under a dollar in the cheaper wears and about $3 to $6 in Factory New.
Mil-Spec
M4A4 | Zubastick

An unusual texture that resembles teeth or bone. White and gray form the base, with small red accents, which sets it apart from more conventional M4A4 designs.
USP-S | Silent Shot

Blue and dark gray tones with ornament on the suppressor and slide. The standout detail is the pair of eyes printed on the slide.
PP-Bizon | RMX

Pink, purple and red elements set against dark gray panels, with the upper section styled like a technical panel with text. The palette is sometimes compared to Fade, at a tiny fraction of the cost.
Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer

A subdued tactical design with dark polymer elements across the body.
UMP-45 | Fragment

Red geometric lines run across the top of the weapon on a dark gray background, like technical schematics. The contrast between the bright lines and the metal body is easy to spot in game.
Sawed-Off | Fusion

The main body is finished in dark tones, while the stock carries a gold abstract pattern reminiscent of waves or wood grain.
M249 | Bock Blocks

A geometric design in pink and purple: abstract symbols, arrows and shapes contrast with the dark metal parts. One of the brightest M249 finishes.
Mil-Spec skins cost under a dollar in every wear except a Factory New USP-S | Silent Shot (about $1).
Trade-Ups: Can You Craft the Gloves
The collection supports trade-up contracts: 10 skins of one rarity are exchanged for one skin of the next rarity, up to Covert.
Since the October 2025 update you can also craft ★ items: exactly 5 Covert skins of one type (all normal or all StatTrak) give a random knife or pair of gloves from the pool of the input skins' collections. The Dead Hand has two Covert skins, the AWP | Queen's Gambit (from $35) and the Glock-18 | Fully Tuned (from $35), so the cheapest contract costs roughly $170 to $180. How to pick the inputs and what you can get is explained in the complete guide to crafting knives and gloves.
Dust II Gets a Mini-Fix
The same update also patched a pixel gap in the Outside Long door on Dust II.
How to Get the Dead Hand Terminal
Method 1: Weekly Drop
After the collection launched, the Dead Hand Terminal was added to the weekly rewards: it can drop once you fill the XP bar earned through regular play.
Method 2: Buy on the Market
At launch terminals cost noticeably more than regular cases, but today a Sealed Dead Hand Terminal costs about $0.3 on LIS-SKINS and is listed in large numbers. If you want a specific pair of gloves, buying it outright is the better deal: grinding terminals in the hope of a particular item almost always costs more.
Community Reaction
For the community this was the first new glove release in years, and the update was treated as one of the main events of the year. Players shared screenshots of their first drops and dissected the terminal pricing, while the AWP | Queen's Gambit, the Glock-18 | Fully Tuned and the Violet Beadwork gloves became the most discussed items of the set.
The Dead Hand is the result of Valve working with Workshop creators, and the set ranges from refined Japanese aesthetics to street art. Every item from the collection is available on LIS-SKINS at market prices.
