Now project our example onto the current situation with beta testing of CS 2. After all, it’s the same here. The developers launched 1-2% of gamers into beta, selected according to incomprehensible, opaque criteria, and left the rest on a starvation diet to watch others enjoy the game. And just try to deceive the system and go to the official CS GO 2 servers, if you get caught, you will immediately get a VAC ban. And, if, starting from the announcement of CS 2 in March 2023, there were still opportunities to play on official servers without an invite and not get caught, now the situation has changed and the risks have increased.
Perhaps Valv got fed up with the mess that was going on around the beta testing of CS 2, when craftsmen-enthusiasts pirated the new Counter Strike and made a fix for him to play in online and a special patch, thereby providing access to official servers to the entire KAES community. Of course, at the peril and risk of the gamers themselves, this is understandable.
But on June 7, 2023, unpleasant news came out: Valv is improving the anti-cheat system in CS 2. Now, for using cheats, an unscrupulous player can be thrown out of the game right during it. There were no other details in the official news about the fight against cheaters. But we think that in any case, everyone who accesses the official CS GO 2 servers through a pirated site should be careful. Until the situation becomes clearer, it is better to play not on official servers or, as a last resort, create another Steam account that you won’t mind losing in case of a ban, and hack through it.
How to start playing CS 2 if there is no invitation: algorithm of actions
To do this, you need to perform several steps:
If you have not yet downloaded the new Counter Strike to your computer, then do so. Links to torrents are easy to find on the Internet.
Next you need to download the fix required for a multiplayer game. Here, also use the search via Yandex or Google by typing “fix for online CS 2” in the search bar.
Drop the downloaded fix into the game folder bin/win64. Windows will ask you whether to replace the files, agree to the replacement.

Click on the cs2.exe file to launch Counter Strike.
Now go to the official CS GO 2 servers or create your own server.

If the console does not want to open, then the solution is the following: check whether it is enabled in the game settings. If yes, then switch to the English layout and call again.
How to play on the official Valve servers through a pirated server

We immediately warn you so that you and I do not have any misunderstandings: carefully read the information below, everything You do your actions at your own peril and risk, all responsibility for your decisions and actions also falls entirely on you. The probability of getting a VAC ban on CS GO 2 servers in this case is maximum. Therefore, just in case, make a new account in Steam so as not to lose the main one with all your achievements and skins. We believe that the desire to play on official servers is not a reason for such a risk.
So, if you're ready, let's go. You will need to download a pirated version of CS 2 onto your computer. Of course, only if it has not been previously installed.
Next you need to find a special patch on the Internet. Type into the search something like “patch for playing through pirated CS 2.” and download the patch.
Then drop the folder with the patch into the game folder.
You may receive a request to update Steam. Accept the request and update it. And don't forget to make a new account just in case. Go to Steam again and join the skating rink you are interested in.
Where to look for third-party CS GO 2 servers (part 1)
First of all, we recommend that you go to the cybershoke website. The servers on it are presented in 3 categories:
DeathMatch - a meat grinder based on the “all against all” principle. The winner is the one who gets the most frags in a limited time.
Public is an interesting mode in which special forces can detonate a bomb dropped by terrorists, and thereby prevent them from planting it on the site.
5x5 is an analogue of classic matchmaking with a change of sides, where the game goes up to 16 victories in rounds.
When you open the skating rink you are interested in, you will see the ip number server. Then everything is as usual: open the console in your CS 2, enter the command "connect ip (IP number)" and go to the server.
A significant advantage of the site is a good filter system. In the case of CS 2, of course, it is not particularly needed yet, but this is only for now. After the official release, the number of servers will certainly increase, which means there will be a need to sort them.
Where to look for third-party CS GO 2 servers (part 2)
We also consider it necessary to mention a good aggregator of CS 2 servers - ip-games. Here are collected servers from major sites, for example, cybershoke or xplay. If you go to a specific server's page, you can see detailed instructions on how to start playing on that server. This is very convenient if you forget something. The big advantage of the service is that the IP number is indicated next to the server name, you do not need to follow the link, go to the server page and waste time on it.
In addition, you can add the CS GO 2 servers you like to your favorites so as not to lose them. And what’s also cool: if cybershoke left only servers with the Mirage card, which Valv replaced with Dust2 on June 7, 2023, then here you can ride both Mirage and Dust2.
On the minuses: there is no normal filter system, the servers are piled up en masse and are not sorted. If you are interested, for example, in retake servers, then you will have to look at the entire list. It’s extremely inconvenient, you must agree.
Where to look for third-party CS GO 2 servers (part 3)
Another good site with German servers (only from Germany for now) is xplay. Currently it features 3 game modes: retake, deathmatch and public. If you have not heard about the remake, then this is a mode in which the game begins at the moment when the bomb is already installed and special forces need to storm the site to defuse it.
The advantages of the site include the ability to see the number of gamers on a specific server and, which is important for a high-quality smooth game, ping. Of the maps, only Dust2 is presented; servers with Mirage have not yet been added to xplay.
The disadvantage of the service is the same as that of ip-games: there are no normal filters and a sorting system. The only saving grace for now is that there are few working CS GO 2 servers, but when there are more of them, this minus will come out sideways.
We play through a private server
This section is written for those who do not have access to the official beta of the new Counter Strike, but who want to create their own private server for playing with friends or who want to know how to join one server. Moreover, in this case you will not need to log into Steam.
Keep in mind that if you make a server, then your computer must be quite powerful, because it will have to ensure the server is operational.
After the CS GO 2 server is made, its creator needs to go to CS 2, open the console and enter the sequence of commands in it: sv_cheats 1 | sv_lan 0 |sv_pure 2| heartbeat.
Now you need to tell your friends the server IP so that they can connect to it. There is nothing new here: the good old connect ip in the console you know well. And don't forget that if the console doesn't work, switch to the English layout and try again.
